The extra virgin olive oil “Dolce di Carolea” is produced from the high quality Carolea olive, hand picked and crushed within 24 hours. The taste is typically sweet, however not due to sugar, but due to an almost absent acidity. The olive grove is in the Sele plain close to Paestum and uses modern techniques to help protect the environment. (Reg CE 2078/92).
